Dear Friends And Neighbors
Thank you for your friendship and support over the years.
If you believe we need sufficient fire protection, police and emergency medical services, pothole-free streets, open neighborhood libraries, parks for everyone to enjoy, to attract new investments and resources to our neighborhoods, to create jobs and revitalization of our communities, I ask you to join me in my campaign for San Diego City Council, and together we can make good things happen.
I'm running for election to the San Diego City Council from District 6 representing Clairemont, Convoy, Kearny Mesa, Miramar, Mira Mesa, Rancho Peñasquitos, and Sorrento Mesa/Sorrento Valley neighborhoods.
Representing our community and making a better San Diego is something I am passionate about. I have the leadership, experience, and commitment to serve our community on the San Diego City Council.
My neighborhood roots are in District 6. It has been my home for 30 years and is where my husband and I raised our two sons (now college graduates). I understand our neighborhood’s values and our neighborhood’s priorities.
My early public service started the same way as many others in our community. I was a military spouse, a Youth Soccer and Little League Team Mom, a Den Mother, a school classroom volunteer, and a School Parent Volunteer Coordinator.
Later, I served on San Diego Unified School District’s Board of Education and several nonprofit boards. I currently serve on San Diego City Human Relations Commission. I also spearheaded the 2013 fundraising effort for the Scripps-Mesa neighborhood July 4th fireworks celebration.
I look forward to working together with you to put our neighborhoods priorities and values first and create a better San Diego.
Candidate, San Diego City Council, District 6
